Do your best to avoid getting water into the container. Water may cause bacteria growth over time, just like with anything else.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Tallow has it's own natural scent. It smells different to everyone - many LOVE it but some may not 😊

Variations in the scent of tallow (from hardly there to mild) is normal with natural products and can be based on the seasons, the animal’s diet or other factors. Generally, the scent fades into the oils and will dissipate after application.

Once your package is scanned into the shipping carrier's system, Mindfully Organic is no longer responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages. If your package has been marked delivered, but you have not received it, please contact the carrier for further details.

We do not use stabilizers or synthetic preservatives in our products, which means they are more susceptible to warm weather (softening and/or melting).

We do our best to ensure your order is packaged well, however, we cannot control the weather. During warm weather months - here in Texas that's pretty much all year - we suggest monitoring your package and once your package arrives, be sure to bring it inside ASAP. We also suggest upgrading your shipping to ensure it gets to you quicker.

If your product is exposed to heat and melted, you can place it in the fridge to allow it to firm up again. If your product was whipped, it won’t have the same texture, instead it will be a balm. However, it will still be effective!

If you would like to get the whipped texture back, you can always re-whip!

Tallow can become stiffer in cooler temperatures and softer in warmer temperatures.

Fortunately, this will NOT affect the nourishing properties of your product!

There can be variations in the color and scent of beeswax due to the type of pollen the bees pollinated, the climate, and age of the wax. The honey/floral/pollen scent can range from light to strong and the color can range from light yellow to a vivid brown.

Our ingredients are sourced from nature. With this, variations in colors are normal and does not change quality. We choose our ingredients carefully, ensuring the highest quality!
